The Age of Stupid

The Age of Stupid is the new movie from Director Franny Armstrong (McLibel) and producer John Battsek (One Day In September). Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated future world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?

This film is not a piece of science fiction – it is based on scientific fact, yet forecasts one of the bleakest futures imaginable for planet earth and for those of us left to inhabit it. The catastrophic future that it predicts is not hundreds of years in the future – without serious action from all of us to prevent climate change, it will happen over the next 100 years.

Please see this film and encourage people that you know to see it also – this is really important.

Showing at the Edinburgh Film House from Friday the 20th of March for one week
