New Caledonian Woodlands exists to enhance the natural environment, inspire positive environmental behaviour change and improve mental and physical well-being.
New Caledonian Woodlands delivers a range of projects that generate improvements for environment and community. We are a registered charity and use income from some project activity to support other valuable social and environmental projects, and any annual profit is re-invested in our work.
Through our five key projects, we are playing a role in the enhancement of Scotland’s environment – for the benefit of nature, for the benefit of people and for the future.
We educate people about the important role they need to play in a range of environmental issues, from habitat conservation to climate change. Participants on our projects work together in a setting that has benefit in terms of team development, problem solving and increased well-being.
Objective One: To enhance the biodiversity of Scotland through the delivery of local conservation activities.
