The Caledonian Woodlands Project

Planting trees as part of well managed and well designed woodland projects enhances local biodiversity and so supports a broad range of species, ranging from plants and mosses to insects, birds and animals. Woodlands also provide valuable and sustainable resources, are beautiful places for people to spend time and to enjoy, while they can also play a small but significant role in tackling climate change.

The Caledonian Biodiversity Weekend

We invite you to join us as we visit many parts of Scotland from the Borders to the Highlands on our weekend residential projects. Our events offer a great way to meet new people, get out and about in the beautiful Scottish countryside, get fit and learn new environmental information and skills. And if that isn’t enough, our weekends are also a real bargain at just £25 including all food, transport and accommodation.
