Tree planting day
Location |
North Esk Reservoir, Scottish Borders |
Dates |
Sunday 7 February 2010 |
Activity |
A new native woodland on the edge of a reservoir, this is New Caledonian Woodlands’ first woodland. The woodland is almost full, so this will probably be our last day of planting at this site, where many of the trees planted two years ago are now reaching around 6 feet in height. |
Food |
As ever, we will be offering an exceptionally delicious lunch of soup, sandwiches and cakes and also lots of hot drinks and biscuits. There will also be mulled wine to finish the day. |
Transport |
We will collect participants from outside Jimmy Chung’s Chinese Restaurant on Waverley Bridge at 10.00 am and return you by about 5.00 pm. |
Cost |
£15 per person including lunch, transport and lots of native species trees. |
